Sheila Repass’s oil paintings take one to English country, to Roan Mountain, and canals of Venice. Born in London, England, Sheila began painting at an early age, influenced by her father, encouraged by an excellent school and by well-known private tutors. Her artistic vision took form when she married a U.S. serviceman and began traveling with him in the U.S. and Europe. “My art is a composite of the favorite places where I have lived and visited,” she says. “I want to share these visual experiences with everyone through my paintings.”
Sheila is the recipient of several awards and has given a number of one-person shows. She often paints commissions of houses, animals, and portraits in oil and pastel. Her work is found in many private collections in the U.S. and England.
